Tonight i stepped outside,i listenednothing but silence in the distance but frogs croaking.
Guess that means that winter has finally disappeared.

When Mikiya was 14 months and still very tiny,we were at a market in St.Catherines,as i carried mikiya row by row,a women asked me how old she was.
I told the women and she walked away,briefly she returned and asked me if i fed my child,and upon her face was the snarkiest of looks,of course there is this smart assed part of me and the serious part conjuring up some stupid ass comment back,i couldn't myself but tell her that mikiya and i were on the atkins diet,we don't eat carb's!!
She shuttered and walked away.....can you say DUMBASS!!

But tonight,i must have met the most wonderful little foreighn lady,she was watching mikiya walking around in wal-mart,mikiya walked up to the fridge and was looking at a ham,mikiya was saying the word ham as well.
This little lady ask's me how old mikiya is,so i tell her she will be 2 next week,wow is she ever small,she must have been born small,why yes 2lbs.
Then her daughter got in on the conversation and her husband as well,these people were well into their 80's,and their daughter in her teen's.
They told me how adorable mikiya is,but of course i knew that,they were just calm people.
This little girl gets so many people around her all the time,it's as though she draws them,they attach themselves to her.
Six days until she's 2,she has weighed in today at 20lbs,a one pound increase in like 8 months,yet this child can eat like a sow,yet other days eat like a bird.
Today she learned how to climb the slide,adjust her footing and slide down the slide,she also took her shoes off and put them into the closet,she even walked through the mud in her socks today and i didn't care,i watched her as she walked towards the mud in her little white socks,i didn't even flinch,who cares they are socks,much less important then her life,but she's here,i mind as well let her get dirty!!!
