WOW,it's certainly been a while since i have given my two cents here,maybe that's for the better,but i have been a busy mom out on the prowl again.

By prowl i mean on the search for any doctor who will give a crap and not brush us off,we were brushed off by our own pediatrician who has recently turned 65 and has sudden memory loss,should he be a physician at this point...heavens no retire before i lose my mind.

A doctor that cannot remember whom he is speaking with let alone treating cannot be for the better.

He forgot who mikiya was even after we have been visiting every 28 days,he forgot about her medical history and what was going on.

After mikiya's lungs collapsed in march she just hasn't been right,her stamina has been lowered and she has had boughts of which i had assumed were apnea's,i discussed these issue's with him and he dissmissed them,i had asked about feet and their alignment and again dismissed.

I had become overcome with worry as mikiya would repeatadly stop breathing in her sleep and after me having to shake her to awaken her would she finally start breathing again.
I thought i would ask him about it one last time before i went above,and i did,again we were tossed to the side.

So i called McMaster Hospital where mikiya was born and i did just that,i went over his head,he wouldn't give me the referrals that i wanted and i told a pediatrician there just that.
I would learn after bitch fest 2009 that the doctor that i was speaking with was the professor that had taught our pediatrician,she was nowhere near impressed,she made it a point to call our pediatrician and asked as to why i was not being taken seriously,i don't know what his answer was but we did get an appointment at Mac,and when we did we finally got those referrals that were so desperatly needed.

So now we sit and wait to see a cardiologist-heart and lung specialist,a respiralogist and an orthapedic specialist.

You hear of these children that have issue's and they got to the doc's in hope of help,they don't get that help and then something goes awefully wrong and then those children die,i have refused mikiya to be a statistic evan before she was born and i will not give in now to doctor error.
