Happy New Year......

Let's hope that this year....the year 2009 has many better beginnings and endings.

This is the first year in my entire life that i had no resolutions,nothing that i wanted to let go and leave behind...nothing i wanted to start fresh at.

I have an understanding with my life and i take it day by day as it happens,and i'm living by that,i have learned that i cannot change the world,but that i can have fun trying to do it.

Christmas this year was a very memorable one,each of the kids received what they had asked for,Dakota a cell phone,shaniya a laptop,and mikiya got a little tykes electronic kitchen,with all the pots and pans and dishes.

Of course there were numerous other gifts under the tree,these were the gifts they wanted the greatest.

We also supplied a christmas for another family,this year i got to see the smiles and i got to see the tears.
A mother so greatful,whome shed tears of joy,was asked by her son as to why she was crying,and why she was sad.
These are tears of joy,she said.

We supplied a complete turkey dinner,extra groceries to get them through,and many many presents under the tree,we didn't only buy for the child but also the mother.

Everything we did meant so much to her,she was sooo greatful,and thats what made it worth it.
This was the first year that she did not have to send her son away for christmas.

To see this first hand, and the impact that it made upon them was more gratifying
I would do it again in a heart beat.
