If only i could do magic!!!

Right now i'am stuck in a whole as i watch my neighbour and her two children lose everything they have.
The children have to eat cereal they don't like and they don't know why.
The mom is going without food just so that her children don't starve or go hungry,and on top of that she is of course faceing eviction and will be served her papers come thursday.
She has no money to rent another place and i feel that she will soon be living out of her van with an 8 yr and an 11 yr old.
Of course the children are still young enough to not really understand what is going on,but the fact is i know whats going on and my daughter shaniya is seeing it as well.
Shaniya doesn't understand it and she question's me.
I explain it as,sometimes good people end up i n bed situations,sometimes we put ourselves there and sometimes we don't,sometimes unexplainable things just happen,things will eventually get better,it's just a matter of wait it through and hope that it doesn't last too long.
She is new to the single world as her and her husband have just separated,he is not paying support as of yet,when he left a month ago he had them so far in arrears in their rent it left her without the option of even trying to catch back up.
If i could just snap my fingers and make it all go away i would.
I will continue to help them in small ways that i can,and i will remember that when i was down,nobody helped me,but i won't let it affect my judjement.
