Weight gains and losses.


Mikiya was born weighing at 3lbs 3 ozs.
By April 17/06 she weigghed in at 3lbs 9 ozs,
That night she started dropping weight rather quickly,and made her way down to a mear 2 lbs.
Trying to catch back up and gain the weight was a task that would prove to be harder then we thought.

At 3.5 months old,mikiya was ready to come home,she was 6 lbs.

My complications during pregnancy caused her complications and a poor chance for life,
Oligohydramnios,and anhydramnios were my two worst enemies.
Those complications alone caused this list of problems for Mikiya.
Cardiac Arrest,
she was high risk for congestive heart failure.
Atrial Septal Defect
Patent Ductus Arteriosis
Mechanical damagae to lungs
Addiction to med's used in NICU
Hypoplastic lungs
Pulmonary hypertension.
