Healing was a challenge,watching the whole process was hard but knowing that things were getting better was a reliever,we had apnea's and reflux,bone,heart & lung issue's,as well as eye problems and hearing issue's,it seemed as though the list was never going to end,colds were bad news as they turned into RSV.Her breathing changed day after day.Some days were better then others.You can never imagine as a parent watching your infant struggle to survive,not just with breathing issue's but feeding one's as well,after doctor's said that Mikiya would never take full feed's orally,she did.I admitt i loved her small,but truth is she did grow what i would say to be slowely,on average 1-2 pounds per month.To date she has gained 16 pounds since birth and is currently 15.5 months.
