Somewhere up there..

Somewhere up there, there is a god that watches us and helps protect us.
Even though we may not be religous or may not believe in god,i know before i didn't truly believe in god,but in the last 2 years i have seem miracles beyond medical repair.

I have seen 3 babies saved from oligohydramnios, and each of those families i have helped and was named a godsend.

Last saturday i sat in awww as one of my friends gave birth to a 3lb 11oz 32 week old baby girl.

Born small but healthy and is now looking at coming home very soon.
Again i thank god....it's not just a figure of speech.

As for us.......we are planning a trip to marineland tomorrow, mikiya has watched the commercial's on tv and dances and prances around while yelling i wanna go there....so we're taking her there.

Also on August 2nd we will be taking a trip to Martin's Fantasy Island.
Then a camping trip will approach in late august...this should be good.

In the fall we are planning on taking a trip to Vermont and on the way i'am stopping in New Hampshire to finally meet Pam,Pam is the grandma of Shaylah, the first preemie baby that i helped save.

Pam and i have remained very close and for once in our lives we just need that hug, she's the one that called me her godsend.

So i look forward to finally actually meeting her after two years.

Then winter we are looking at Jamaica Mon....woohoo.

But of course at any time medical problems can arise and turn our plans into nothing so we will just go on a day to day basis.

Hi,

I believe in God, too. I know Jesus loves us and that miracles still happen--it's just whether or not we choose to see them. Sometimes we think God doesn't exist or love us when bad things happen... like when a child is born with difficulty or complications, or even dies. But the truth of the matter is that, as much as we love that child, Jesus loves that child more than we do. So much more. And he promises that if we really seek him out, he will reveal himself to us.

Thank you for sharing your life with us. I'm happy you'll have a chance to take some family trips with Mikiya and meet those you've impacted. Hope you have a great time!

Praying for you and your family with love.

Thanks for your support and encouragement. Children are a blessing from God. You have given me so much extra strenth to get through the tough times. Reading your stories and Mikiya's struggles and triumphs- WOW she's an amazing little girl, and she is blessed to have you as her mom.
