Two months shy of two years.

Mikiya is now 2 months shy of her second birthday,

This is the best year yet that we have had health wise,after her anyeurism she bounced back quite well.

This winter i had asked the doctor is she was again going to recieve the SYNAGIS shots for RSV,as it turns out she is not to get them again,they are for the first year of life only,because they are still too small to push most bacteria's and mucus from their chests.

The doctors warned me that as she grows i would see there wear 'n' tear ,the strain on her lungs and breathing from activity alone,very rarely do i see her huff 'n' puff and she is a complete wild child,always busy.she is the bussiest toddler i have ever seen.

She bounces back from infection very well and she was finally signed off of therapy,her therapist will no longer visit us for home therapy.

Mikiya was also seen by Speech Services here in Niagara,

The worker was flabergasted when she heard Mikiya speak,most small toddlers that are healthy have very limited speech,not mikiya,her mouth is as busy as her tiny body be.

She has about a 204 word vocab at 22 months,she now speaks in brief sentances and very clearly.

She is very humerous,and knows how to joke,she finds funny things funny and is very intelligent.

Her most famous one liner right now is''your mean'
She used this line on Shaniya and Dakota when they wouldn't play with her but now she has discovered what it really means and constantly tells Grandma and i that we are mean when we won't give her what she wants.

I'm mean cause i care.

To me she is just your A typical toddler with a sly smile and an attitude problem,she thinks she is the princess and that all doors shall open upon her arrival.

She still has chest retractions,i wouldn't call them sever but they are noticeable,

she is very thin with a slight distended belly,you can see her front and back ribs through her skin,she has long slender legs and arms as well as fingers,and is a mere 20 lbs.

Her dark blonde hair is past her shoulders,and she likes to make it look pretty.

She is not a big eater,she still has a bottle but not at all times,she loves her milk and askes for it by name.

Her pacifier is still her best friend,but only request's it when she is tired,if it weren't for daddy ,she wouldn't need it as much,but she is his baby girl.

She drinks whole milk,and i have her on pediasure...2ozs per day.

She loves Tim Horton's coffee,which is awesome for her lungs.

She also loves popsicles and the occasional slurpee from 7-11.
